GLOBAL SETTINGS FUNDING CALCULATIONS

name

Name of the DC schedule

year of DC schedule

The year in which the funding calculations will take place.

LTCCP:

first year

First year of the LTCCP

 

planning period

The number of year of the LTCCP

 

 

This will determine the number of years over which the funding calculations will run

 

 

The outstanding years of the LTCCP period will be displayed in bold when viewed on the DC calculations output screens - Non-Growth, Growth and Back Charge.

 

(last year)

The last year of the LTCCP calculated by first year + planning period.

 

 

LTCCP years are configures in the reference section of the Administration module

inflation set year

The year from which inflation Project costs will be calculated.

reporting:

first year

This is the start year for entry of Programme Budget, Project Cost, Import data and planning act report

 

period

The reporting period for display of project data in the planning act report.

 

(last year)

The last year of the report calculated by first year + reporting period used in the planning act report.

debit interest

Rate of debit interest for funding calculations.

credit interest

Rate of credit interest for funding calculations.

discount rate

Discount rate

general finance inflation index

Replaced by the Inflation matrix and should not be modified.

cost allocation growth cap

Variable cap on growth share used in cost allocation.

non-growth calculation:

renewal

Selected if Renewal is to be included in non-growth funding calculations.

 

backlog

Selected if Backlog is to be included in non-growth funding calculations.

 

unallocated

Selected if Unallocated is to be included in non-growth funding calculations.

growth calculation:

growth

Selected if Growth is to be included in growth funding calculations

dc minimum funding period

Minimum funding period of all projects.

calculation method:

direct from client

The calculation will be run in the browser. The progress is displayed on-screen as logs. The calculation will be stopped if the browser is closed.

 

using the calculation queue on server

The calculation will be run on the SPM server which is separate from the browser session. i.e. The calculation will continue to run even if the user closes their web browser. The projects will be polled if there are more projects than the set batch size

The debt interest and credit interest in Settings screen must be defined in order for the DC Calculation screens to display correctly.
