Screen Features

The majority of the screens within SPM Projects have similar functionality for addition, deletion and modification of data.

When advancing through a series of screens, it is important that data changes are saved on each individual screen before progressing to the next.

Button Asterisk

Indicates a mandatory field

Standard Buttons

Button Add New

Will display a blank screen ready for entry of a new record.

Button Delete

Will delete the displayed or selected record. Sometimes used in conjunction with a tick box Button Tick Boc to indicate the selected record.

Button Save

Will confirm entry of a new record, deletion of a record or modification of a record.

Button Reset

Will reverse record additions or modifications prior to saving a record.

Button Refresh

When additions, modifications or deletions are made to Reference data in the ADMINISTRATION module, the refresh button will display a revised list that includes any data modifications.

Movement of Programmes or Projects

Button Copy

Copy Programme data to create a new Programme within the same Sub-activity or between Scenarios.

 

Copy Project data to create a new Project within the same sub-activity.

 

The original Programme or Project will be retained.

Button Paste

Move an existing Project to a different Programme.

 

The Project will no longer be associated with the original Programme.

 

Move a Programme between Scenarios.

Button Paste

Used in conjunction with either the copy button or the move button to complete the relocation process.

Button Clear

The clear button will cancel a copy or move action.

Display Options

Label DisplayButton Display

 

Select the display factor from the drop down list.

For screens with number values, the output can be displayed as divided by a factor of 1,000 or 1,000,000.

 

Button Display Factors

A value of 18,000 will be displayed as a value of 18 if a factor of 1,000 is selected.

Button Impact

Select the filter option from the drop down list.

Available in Sub-activity, Programme or Project Consideration and Strategy screens to filter the impact associated with Consideration or Strategy entries.

 

The list items displayed are defined by the application Administrator within Application Settings.

 

Button Impact Options

Selection of medium will display only those considerations with an an impact of medium.

button auto refresh

Select to auto refresh the screen when a change's made to the record.

Reporting Options

Only the first 200 rows are displayed in any report on-screen.

Button Print

Report output is directed to a printer.

Button CSV

csv

Output will be directed to a csv (comma separated values) file.

Button pdf

Report output is generated as a PDF file.

button msword

Report output is generated as a Microsoft Word file.

When moving/copying a programme, the projects, costs and cost allocation information associated with the programme will be moved/copied as well.
