Security Admin

User access to SPM Projects and to specific screens and data fields should be managed by a designated administrator only. Care should be taken when modifying user rights, and users should be advised to login using only their assigned user account for auditing purposes.

The user's login ID will be displayed at the bottom of the screens as the person who created or last modified the record.

	At least one user should always have full admin rights to the application to ensure that other user accounts can be managed.
	Administrator rights can be allocated at application level only. They cannot be overridden at Activity level.
	Usernames should not exceed 8 characters in length.

The relationship between users, groups and functions:

when a new user is created, the user group(s) are assigned to the user. e.g. user X belongs to 'Administrator' group.
functions are assigned to each user group. e.g. any user in 'Administrator' group can perform function - edit sub-activity management group name.
